Contract Pickling
When welding stainless steel, a tarnish develops that then begins to rust. Through immersion pickling, we prevent this from happening. We pickle your stainless steel products in an environmentally friendly way, thereby saving you the associated disposal effort. We use the following procedures:
- Immersion pickling – basin size 6200x2000x2000
- Spray pickling – up to 20 tons with unlimited size
- Any sizes can be done by spray pickling
- Glass bead blasting
We refine your products with high quality glass bead blasting. The size of the blasting cabin is 2 m x 4 m. Only stainless steel parts are processed.
With the special process technology of glass bead blasting, temper colours, irregularities of the surface as well as slight burrs can be removed. This results in a high-quality, bright, appealing surface.
Electropolishing
Schwarz is the surface specialist in machining stainless steel, especially in the field of electropolishing. The advantages of electropolished surfaces compared to only mechanically machined ones have been clearly proven. By eliminating the micro-roughness, the effective surface area is reduced by up to 80%. Embedded foreign bodies are removed, small defects eliminated.

Our electropolishing baths have dimensions of up to 6.5 x 1.7 x 1.7 m., and because of their size, we are not restricted. The crane capacity amounts to 20 tons. There is virtually no limit to polishing inner container surfaces. Particularly large apparatuses can be filled with the electrolyte and processed with rotating and travelling cathodes.
Cleaning in the ISO Class 7 cleanroom
As a service, we offer cleaning and packaging of components according to semiconductor standard
